DO YOU CHARGE FOR AN INITIAL CONSULTATION?
No, our first consultations are designed for us to get a better idea of what it is you’re looking for in a planner, the plans and ideas you have established so far, and how we can bring your vision to life! We like to take this time to get to know you and ensure that we’re the best fit for your needs. Most importantly, we want to make sure that you feel comfortable trusting us to take on the details of your big day!
HOW MUCH ARE YOUR SERVICES?
Our Wedding Management (formerly known as Month of/Day of Coordination) package fits most budgets and is $1500.
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
All packages require a 50% non-refundable deposit in order to secure your date and begin the actual planning process. The remaining payment is due two weeks before your wedding date, but you can make payments in between if you’d like. We use a great online payment tool that makes it easy!
FOR WEDDING MANAGEMENT (MONTH OF/DAY OF COORDINATION), HOW OFTEN DO WE MEET PRIOR TO MY WEDDING DAY?
This can be booked at any time before your wedding. We meet you where you are at in your wedding planning, but official consultations begin anywhere from 1-2 months prior to your wedding day. Typically 1-2 meetings are all that is needed. We are available to you unlimited via email. We will gladly assist you with check-ins, monthly checklists to help keep you on track, and unlimited emails for any of the questions you may have. We will meet to discuss your details, create and nail down a solid timeline, confirm vendors, and ultimately devise a game plan for execution on the day of.
WHAT IF MY VENUE HAS AN ONSITE COORDINATOR? DO I STILL NEED A DAY-OF COORDINATOR?
AVE works exclusively for you, while an onsite coordinator works for the venue. We are in charge of assisting you in finalizing details and coordinating, working as your #1 consultant throughout those last few months prior to your wedding day. We not only manage vendors and set out your personal touches, but we make sure the entire production of your wedding runs smoothly. Most importantly, our role is to have an eye on every moving piece including the venue, to ensure the day is seamless.
WHAT IF FAMILY AND FRIENDS HAVE OFFERED TO HELP ME ON THE DAY OF?
Ah, yes your beloved friends and family can be so wonderful in their willingness to help you set-up and run your wedding. But since they are your guests, you’d likely rather they enjoy themselves than spend your wedding day stressing over the details, feeling in over-their-head, or missing important moments with you. As experienced professionals, we can take over that role instead, so while you get to have a fun and meaningful time at your wedding, those closest to you do, too!
DOES AVE TRAVEL?
AVE is based out of the Raleigh area and available for travel within North Carolina only at this time. Additional travel-related expenses may apply.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK YOU?
Not trying to toot our own horn, but like yesterday. We book up pretty fast and we are only taking on so many weddings a year now. There are some popular wedding dates get booked well over a year out! Make sure you inquire with us ASAP so we can be sure to help you on your day.
